So around 3 PM my internet stops working.I thought hey maybe its my router and then i go to my router home page and there is a message from my isp saying i committed an illegal download infraction and my service was suspended. i called them they gave me a warning and told me to delete the file and remove utorrent, which i did.So at the time i was not using peerguardian which i usually use, and i was nabbed.This was my first time ever being caught, my isp actually knew the file path the file was downloaded to which was in a secure folder.So i would not say that an ip is useless, i think it kinda depends on your isp, if they dont care much about torrents then you may be ok because when i had at&t dsl for 3 years this shit never happened, my first month with this isp "Cox communications" i get nabbed.
