Axiotron’s tablet was pretty impressive, but I wouldn’t buy one. It’s pretty hefty and cumbersome. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still cool and all, but not for me and $2,300 is an awful lot. Although, it’s cheaper than an Air.

No, the macbook air actually costs $1800, 500 bucks cheaper than this tablet. Unless of course you’re referring to the $3000 macbook air with a 64gb SSD.
Will it be possible to install an alternative hard drive such as an SSD with more space or is it like the battery in that you would have to take it in to get the job done?
The Air that is, sorry I know this is supposed to about the Mac Tablet but given that you seem to know about both …
Nah, you would definitely need Apple to install the SSD for you, and they probably won’t have any alternative options.
