This is a loud phone, and I’m not referring to the earpiece volume.
It’s aimed at “design-conscious” consumers and will be available in Europe sometime soon (in the first quarter, according to Nokia) for the fashion-forward price of 375 Euro (that’s almost $550). It’ll fit nicely in the pockets of those $200 jeans you’re wearing.
The phone’s design comes to us courtesy of Frédérique Daubal, who I’m going to assume is kind of a big deal.
If you were to buy one of these phones, you’d be able to “personalize the color of the light in the keymat choosing from 49 different colors” and futz with the “organic, modern digital art wallpapers inspired by Daubal” that “communicate the reflection of light and capture the feel of angular prisms and triangles.” Hooray?
So as a phone, you get a 2-megapixel camera, 3G connection, 1GB internal memory, music player (with matching headset), and an OLED display. Something tells me you’re paying for the purple, not the features.
