MacBook Air review roundup

First up we have Uncle Walt. His views and opinions on technology astonish me.
If you value thinness, and a large screen and keyboard in a subnotebook, and don’t watch DVDs on planes or require spare batteries, the MacBook Air might be just the ticket. But if you rely on spare batteries, expect the usual array of ports, or like to play DVDs on planes, this isn’t the computer to buy.
Couldn’t have said it any better myself, Walt.

Pogue is mysteriously missing for some reason.

Pogue’s just applying the adage my mother taught me — if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all, else Steve Jobs may remove you from the Apple Ass-Kisser List and you’ll have to wait for your review units with the rest of the peons.

Oh get real. Is anyone actually going to bring a case of DVDs with them on a plane?

Are you guys taking your lead from your mother operation or something? Pogue did his review of the MBA last week! As he told people at Gizmodo, he has a very long list of tests that he conducted on the MBA. And it wasn’t all positive, contrary to the anti-Apple trolls here.

The Air is all about Apple asking the question, how big of a turd can we squish into a shinny case and still have sales.
