Took about 15 minutes for them to do. So you don't have to "demand" that Verizon give you the update or a new phone. Don't wait for the letter - if you're on the old software, just bring it in to a Verizon store (the Verizon Kiosk in the local Mall couldn't do it) and they should do it for you, no questions asked. What is shown in this video is part of the upgrade.
