Show me a kid that doesn’t know about LEGO and I’ll show you a kid who hasn’t LIVED, dammit! Seeing this 405-piece LEGO bucket makes me want to go out and buy it for the low, low price of $25, although using the words “piece” and “bucket” together kind of makes me want to go out and get some KFC, too.
Okay, I’ll get the LEGO bucket and then swing through KFC on my way home so it doesn’t get cold. Then I’ll eat, wash my hands, and play with my new LEGO kit.

I had tons of bricks as a child and definitely preferred those to my three small fischertechnik sets back then.
But:
Still playing LEGO as well as fischertechnik along side my children today, I begin to realize that LEGO is for visual designers whereas fischertechnik is for engineers.
