Star Wars: The Force Unleashed sim technologies
by Doug Aamoth on January 28, 2008

LucasArts has three different simulation technologies that’ll be implemented into the release of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (due this summer) called Havok, Euphoria, and DMM (digital molecular matter). Check out the above video. Looks sweet.

  • This looks so awesome. I saw this the other day, just showed some co-workers a little while ago, and have been talking about it with a friend online for the past 10 minutes. I’ve been waiting for this game for a while, and have been waiting for any game to come out that uses the Euphoria engine. (the new GTA game will be using it as well I believe. The only two games thus far that I know that will be using it)

I’m amazed though that they’ll be using 3 physics engines, that’s just insane…but is going to be so cool

  • WOW! Any idea what consoles it will be coming out for?

  • It’s coming to Wii… no joke. You get to use the Wii-mote as your lightsaber.
