regardless i agree that sony needs to get their SH@@ straight... i bought an 80gig ps3 to have nothing but numerous problems with it... and send that crap back... i dont care for ps2 games its 2008 and if you are still playing the ps2 something is wrong.. i dont care if that crap was touch screen.. i would love to have the rumble controllers with the ps3 but from the rumors that it may be 600$ + TAX i feel i may cry myself to sleep.... altough i dont know if im going to be using much of that hard drive.. just to save games.. hopefully it comes out soon... and hopefully it will be glitch and bug free

Ummm if Sony officially said there is going to be a 120gb or 160gb with dualshock 3, do you think people will still buy the current 80gb version?

NOOOOO.. Theyre going to keep it a secret as long as possible

BC isnt important if you already own a PS2. I know lotsa people who bought a 40gb because they remembered they werent buying a PS3 to play PS2 games.

Even then, the MSRP+tax difference between 40gb vs 80gb = a PS2 Slim.

Sony needs to get it together, this is really frustrating having to wait for them to relase a ps3 model with a lager hard drive & backwards compatibility. No way would I buy one with 40gb with prospects of bigger hard drives, smaller machine & backwards compatiblity back on the horizon.

Sony is letting its public down dramatically, they stoped production of the 60gb model, we have been denied the 80gb model, but 120gb would be good for the uk shores, and the 40gb version of the console is a complete waste of money. Sony need to reashure the uk public and give us what we want, which is more space and backwards compatability.
