Motorola yesterday published a news release stating that, in the interest of shareholders, it would examine a corporate restructuring that would perhaps separate its mobile devices group from the rest of the company.

The release doesn’t say it will or won’t, just that it’s a possibility. So, basically, Motorola might spin off its phone business as a separate venture. But it might not. But don’t be surprised if, like, it happens.
