magnum

Remember that post about the HTC Magnum yesterday? The giant tablet phone thingy with a 30-hour battery? It’s fake. Can you believe it?!

Portuguese jokesters over at Pocketpt.net had apparently mocked up the giant blob of technology as “a small prank to a regional community [that got] extrapolated to international sites as a ‘real’ piece of news.”

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news here. I, for one, was excited to hang a Windows Mobile device on one of my walls for reasons unknown. Looks like it’s not gonna happen, though.

  • Damn… and I was still hoping he’d just turn out to be a tiny, tiny man. :P

  • Theres nothing stopping you from hanging a windows mobile device on your wall. All it takes is one long sharp nail right through the bastard’s heart, and it you hit it hard enough, it will go through and stick into the wall. And it’s a lot more satisfying feeling too.
