What is Buzz My Goat?

I’m holding off judgement on Buzz My Goat. Sure it’s a silly name, but you’ll remember it.
The site’s basic premise is that it’s a way to send your friends video greeting cards. And it’s not free: most cost between $2 and $3 to send. Why anyone would pay for this when YouTube and many others are free, I do not know.
But maybe I’m missing the point. Check it out, try the demo, and tell us what you think?

Hi Matt, I think you are definately missing the point! BMG is the worlds first personalised greeting card service. Have a look again…..you can personalise each clip before you send it…..where can you do this on You Tube?

certainly missing the point - you are comparing to the web instead of the ringtone market. There you pay highly for crap ringtones - here you get highly personlised and professional messages and ringtones at a fraction of the price - finally something worth paying for1

Thanks for your comments. The key point that you missed is that Buzz My Goat is a way to send or download PERSONALISED video messages.. That’s very different from anything you can do anywhere else.. and certainly not from You Tube..
It’s also the only place (that we know of) where you can create and download a personlised comedy video ringtone (we call them Buzztones). When an animated character pops up on your phone and says “Oi! Matt, it’s Justin! Stop messing about and answer the phone!” making you laugh in the process, we reckon that’s a few bucks. If you register (it’s free) you can download exactly this (also free) and let us know what you think! Hope you try it..
ON the cost issue, our long term objective is to definitely to make Buzzes of all types cheaper. We’ve already got lots that cost just a pound.. And some free ones! We’ll be getting more buzzes on at all different price ranges in the coming weeks, so we’ll let you know what the users think!
