I found this out the hard way and had to wait until the newer model came out (with a computer compartment wider than 14.1", which is the width of the MBP). Don't trust any website that lists that the MBP will fit unless they list the actual dimensions of the computer pocket - I have found that many websites just copied the information from Timbuk2's website, and their website (up until the release of the newly resized bag) incorrectly assumed that the Macbook Pro was identical in size to the Powerbook, which it is not.
