Wi-Fi is as ubiquitous as pretty much anything else in the technology field, rivaled perhaps by Bluetooth. But now they’re getting along better, as the Bluetooth SIG has developed a way to piggyback Bluetooth onto Wi-Fi, making it more power conservative as well as faster.

Devices with the new technology should start rolling out next year, much sooner than the competing standard could, and it should be inexpensive. And, c’mon, Wi-Fi-Blue is cool sounding, no?
