Nvidia re-entering mobile market with new applications proc

It’s not a GPU, not really, but Nvidia’s new cellphone chip is a graphics proc for cellphones. As cellphones get more iPhone-like, the need for advanced visual processing power arises, and Nvidia’s betting it will be a big market.

Today it announced the new applications processor with integrated video acceleration. This means more responsive UIs, smoother video, and more advanced games. That sounds just fine to us.
