I’m not sure how many of you own a laptop with a recordable Blu-ray drive, but if you’re in the market for one then I suggest you wait another few months. Today, Sharp announced a drive that can burn dual-layer discs at an astonishing 6x thanks to a tiny new laser that measures in at just 0.13-inches. Sharp plans to mass produce in April. A desktop drive was also announced that measures in at 0.22-inches. No word on pricing, but the samples were going for about $461.
