Toshiba: We’re done with HD DVD, looking forward to a bright HD future

It’s in our inbox, so that’s good enough for us to call it. At 12:14AM PST, HD DVD is no longer supported by Toshiba, effectively killing the format. The release says that Toshiba will focus instead on “championing consumer access to HD content”.
No more players, no more disks, no more HD DVD.
So now we can all buy our PS3s and wait for the day when Transformers shows up on Blu-ray, the official next gen disc format for HD video.

Too bad you “called it” yesterday and now you get to “call it” again without admitting you got your facts wrong yesterday. And even in this article you don’t provide any reference to back up your claim.
I guess the only reason I believe you this time is because the same thing is being reported all over the Net, whereas yesterday you were the only one putting words into Toshiba’s mouth.

…and they were right. Call it “putting words in (their) mouth” all you want, but that’s part of why bloggers exist — they have access to information/sources many of us don’t.
You should be happy - you got a jump on today’s news - yesterday.
