In response to Matt Hammond zzzPhone.com, VP of Sales and Marketing, I am willing to ship my unit to you for testing (I will pay for the shipping). It is of no use to me now.

Moreover, the my original spec. request was for a dual sim cards. My unit has two slots, but only one works. As I said before, the GPS is in Chinese, and even the the GPS voice directions. It is actually comical,

Let me know if you want it for testing.

Yours,

Meshari

This is a scam. I ordered a unit more than two months ago. After repeated inquiries and requests for my purchase they sent me a low quality product with the logo ZZZPhone spray painted on it, and the plastic case feels like its goin to break anytime.

In the specs I had the option of including a torchlight, FM, GPS, Wi-fi, and bluetooth. Here is what I got:-

1. Torchlight was stick on.
2. No FM.
3. No Wi-Fi.
3 Bluetooth does not work.
4. GPS software(Navione) was in Chinese.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. IT IS A TOTAL RIPOFF.

Please take a look at the following link..http://www.smstextnews.com/2008/02/i_just_bought_a_zzzphone.html

There used to be comments to state the customers were not getting their orders. I like how the comments about the orders were completely wiped out. Buyers beware. Anyone who had ordered and never received their orders, please join me to bring this scamming company down by reporting it to the Better Business Bureau. They have an office at Vegas.
Hi Matt,

Why don't you reply back to all the people's email about their other and also post a comment on why all the orders were not shipped to the customers. You come on and try to tell people that your product is not a scam but no one seems to have received their order. I also want to say what great customer service you have, I sent you a couple of emails about a refund or the status of my order but no reply at all. I smell a scam and is in the process of reporting your little LLC company in Vegas to the Better Business Bureau.

This blogger ordered your phone months ago and has not received it. This kind of thing is what reveals your company as a fraud, even if your intentions are otherwise.

This is good to know. Interesting bloggers are always looking for ways to bring others down. These phones are made inthe same factories where the high-end phones are made yet they cost ten times more.
Americans are always about waste...waste of money and the people don't complain. why would Apple sell a product for $500 when it cost them $76 to make?

Thanks for the info Matt. Keep up the good work. I have no problem buying the phone and paying for the software. Where can we upload the apps? Thanks.

To further clarify our OS: as some of our worldwide whitelabel affiliates have asked for further clarification, which may also be helpful to your readers:

We are using a proprietary OS, such as those developed by Palm and Blackberry, that supports many smartphone features, such as Windows-type software, Java software, WAP, and GPRS. The OS is provided to us by our motherboard supplier- an internationally recognized public company that has demonstrated to our attorneys that any relevant licensing required for our products has been legally obtained.

If you or other bloggers have any questions about our products, it would be appreciated if you would contact us for clarification before making suppositions based on your unfounded suspicions.

We resubmit the basic important facts that are:
1) We are real- and are presently working on an IPO on the NYSE.
2) Our phones are real and customers worldwide will begin receiving their zzzPhones next week.
3) We have created an incredible offer to provide a phone of this quality at an incredible price, and phones using the same components have been used worldwide for over a year.

Thanks again for your audience.
Sincerely,

Matt Hammond

John,

We wanted to address some of the comments you have made about our new product, the zzzPhone, as we feel that some of your statements are inaccurate and detract from the truly remarkable offering we have presented to the public with this phone.

Firstly, there are no kinks in our phone’s hardware composition, as you put it and our hardware has been finalized for over 1 month. In fact, all the hardware has been in production for over 1 year in other mobiles. We are, at our core competency, wizards at the customized assembly processes, and have taken our expertise to the cell phone model using all standard existing hardware pieces- many of which are made in the same Shenzhen factories as Nokia and Motorola’s components.
These mobiles are working fine in all many countries of the world.

Per our operating system, it is embedded on the Taiwanese MTK-6226 chip supplied by the motherboard factories. It does everything Windows Mobile CE does except provide users the ability to download SOME software direct from the web to their phones. Our system also provides rapid access to the Internet and email. We have contacted Windows directly and explained our situation and request to license CE 6. They refer us to their global wholesale distributors, who in turn refer us back to Microsoft for ‘permission’ to buy licenses for our phones. To date, they have denied us permission for no apparent reason other than to protect their favored clients. This is anti-trust behavior, and our lawyers are communicating with Microsoft to resolve this barrier to the market. The license only costs about $14, which we are more than willing to pay if they will stop their discriminatory practices that stifle fresh startups like ourselves. Remember, we have addressed this problem, and have confirmed that our OS does everything Windows Mobile CE does, except downloading SOME programs directly from the Internet to the phone. We address this by offering customers the ability to upload almost any desired program in our factory for a nominal fee that covers any licenses required.

Perhaps we are still young and evolving (this is, after all, a “BETA” site), but you do your readers and us a disservice by printing misinformed guesses per our technology and operations. If Americans, unlike Europeans and the rest of the world, need “Windows CE 6” on their mobile then they must continue to pay over $750 to Nokia for a phone with less features and no customization- we offer a tremendous value when you consider the features and functionality of our phone in relation to price.

We are grateful for the coverage, but would appreciate a fair evaluation of our products. We are shipping the first models to our whitelabel affiliates and initial customers this week, and feel that it would be fair for you to withhold any negative judgments about our phone until you have at least used one for yourself.

Per your patent advice, we have “patent-pending status” for this product and service in China and America, and will be applying in Europe this week.

Thanks again for your coverage, and we hope that we can garner more favorable reviews from you once you, actually touch and feel our phones.

Sincerely,

Matt Hammond
