I’ve been a fan of the Palm OS since I first got my hands on a Pilot 5000 in 1997 or so. And luckily for me the OS hasn’t changed that much since then (zing!). Palm still makes great PDAs, at least for now, and if you’re in the market for one, you can’t do much better than the Palm TX.

While it’s a bit long in the tooth, it works fine, and right now Palm is running an interesting promotion, including a Zire Z22 with the purchase of a TX. That’s two PDAs for the price of one, at $299 including shipping.
