Sprint’s Hesse focused on customer service

Now this is how you run a company. Daniel R. Hesse is the newly appointed CEO of Sprint, a company not known for its customer service skills. At the first operations meeting he oversaw, he noted customer service wasn’t on the agenda at all. He made it the first thing they discussed.

We’re hopeful Hesse can turn Sprint’s rep around. It’s known to be a stickler to customers as far as service goes, and has traditionally been one of the worst “nickel and dimers” in the industry.

We’ve never been big Sprint fans, and the customer service is a huge part of why. We’ll be watching, and we’d love to see things get better.

  • Well Mr. Hesse is getting a big fat “F” is my book. My new HTC Mogul decided to once again stop working. I called sprints technical support department and their office is closed. It’s only freaking 10:15 in California and their CLOSED!! Now I have no working phone as I, like alot of people I know, don’t have a land line. I sure hope my house doesn’t catch on fire, someone breaks into my house or God forbid something happens to one of my kids that I cant even call 911!! Thanks Mr. Hesse…your doing a lousy CSR job ALREADY!!

    • Don’t be surprised the big two Verizon & AT&T stop live customer service around 5:00 as well. I think T-Mobile is the only carrier who actually has 24/7 operator customer service. You could always see if a store is still open and run in, otherwise no carrier promises 24/7 operation of your phone.

      • No, tmobile unfortunately does not have 24/7 operator customer service. I just called them and it says it’s not working hours, call back at 6am est or something. this sucks. i always thought all phone companies have 24/7 operator hours. maybe i’m just spoiled by credit card and bank services.
