We’ve been hearing for awhile now that the PSP was getting GPS, and it was recently shown off in Japan. It’s a devkit version, so this isn’t what it will likely look like, but so far besides general mapping Sony is demoing GPS-based games. There’s no way this could be used by creepy stalkers, especially in Japan.

What I would like to find out is how Sony plans on keeping GPS connectivity with their devices when riding the train – at high speeds and when under the earth’s surface in tunnels. Since many PSP users like to use their device while on the train in Japan – I am interested in finding out how they plan to keep the GPS functionality within the PSP enabled.
