>Sadly, the days of paper and dice are likely going away forever.

Um ... no. This is the most common misconception about D&D 4th Edition, but it's just silly. The online utility is an added bonus for people who like to play together but who are in geographically disparate locations. But D&D will remain a tabletop/pen, paper and dice RPG.

We love books and miniatures and dice and dungeon tiles and maps and frosty beverages and snacks and … well, everything related to sitting around a table and playing D&D with our friends. It’s not only what we do professionally, it’s our hobby and our passion.

These things are not going away."
