I was debating between getting the 250 vs the 350. My main concern was that the 350 would be too huge and bulky to be carrying around on my back while i visit places. I also have a 16” laptop and wanted to know if it’ll fit into the 250.

I went to a local store and brought my laptop to test it out. My 16” laptop fit perfectly (with no room to spare) in the 250 and just as I suspected the 350 is too big. The 250 doesnt hold as many things as the 350, but that’s okay with me. If I’m travelling, I wont be carrying that many lenses anyway.

Overall I am very pleased with this backpack. Construction is solid like most Lowepro bags. It replaced my Lowepro Slingshot bag which I got ride of because my shoulder would be sore after carrying my camera and lenses all day long. Very uncomfortable.

I think I will be keeping this bag around for many years. I recommend it.

I also have the Fastpack 250, but find it a bit large for my daily use. I recently posted a side-by-side comparison with the Kata DR-467. Check it out if you are looking for a slightly less bulky bag.

Fastpack 350 is designed to carry 17″ laptops.
250 can fit in up to 15.4″ laptops.

I am also interested in the laptop size as I have an HP 17″. Did anyone figure out if one would fit?

Hey! Good review on the Fastpack!

I have one question i hope you can help me with:
* Does a 17″ laptop fit into the Fastpack 250?

You say:

Have you tried with a 17″ laptop?

On another site i found out that the laptop compartment in the 250 modell is actually 42×30x3 cm, is this something you can confirm?
If that is the case, my HP 17″ will just fit, since its 39×28cm roughly.
