April 15. Tax Day here in the U.S. It’s also the release date for the DualShock 3 for the PS3. Everyone can now easily sleep at night again.
Yup, the PS3 controller with vibration will reach our hallowed shores in just about six weeks. As you may (or may not!) know, the current PS3 controller, the SIXAXIS, doesn’t have any vibration to speak of because of an earlier lawsuit Sony had to deal with. Now that both parties have exchanged the appropriate amount of money, the DualShock 3 is a go.
Now all we need is a killer app for the system that’s not Blu-ray playback.

Have you played “Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction” yet? I don’t know why it didn’t get more press, but I definitely consider it the killer app the PS3 needed to really get things moving. If you haven’t played it yet, and have easy access to a PS3, I really recommend giving it a shot.
Well that’s one problem, I don’t have a PS3. Seeing as though I’ve been whittling away at The Orange Box since New Years for the 360, I’d say I just don’t have enough time to enjoy these systems anymore. Oh well.

OH SNAP!!!! i actually just picked one up 2 days ago. Pretty sweet, but I downloaded Jet Moto and I’ve been playing that more than anything.
