We’re getting messages from users of Windows Live that the service has been down for about 11 hours — an eternity in Internet time.
It appears that Windows Live is down. Been unable to log into email,
windows live messenger or any other windows live service since about 8am
GMT.Their service status says that “All systems go. There are no issues at this
time”. However a Microsoft spokesman has told TheRegister that there is a
problem.About 11 hours without access to things now - not good for Microsoft.
Are you able to connect?
Had problems all day…
I had some troubles logging in with live messenger after rebooting my pc, but after a while I could log in.
the service isn’t down, but since hotmail is down (aka windows live) if the service attempts to verify your password it can’t. Hence you’re not logging in.

I have had no such problems today. Been checking email and on MSN Messenger all day. Just got new mail a minute ago. Could be a regional deal.
I haven’t had any problems logging into Live mail at work, but when I went home for lunch, I couldn’t log on from home. I haven’t been able to log on from my phone either.
I’ve been logged into MSN all day today via Pidgin. Its been booting me off randomly at points, but it reconnects.
Yup, been unable to connect to hotmail and microsoft live id sites most of the day, things finally started working about 2 hours ago.
ive been trying to reach live tech support since the 23rd of feb. my games for windows live wont let me on , this is feb 29th. its been a week now an all ive been told by the windows live team (Mr.benjamin) he said that they’re aware of the issue and are hard at work to fix it .
It’s going through an update, but I wouldn’t have expected this to go on for this long. I wanna play Halo 2 again! The guys in US can play it seemingly as I saw one on my friend’s friends list.
I was logged in all day at work. Got home about 7 pm and logged in just fine. Downloaded a new version of PhotoBase about an hour ago, and, after re-boot, now can’t log back in. The message says that “Windows Live is experiencing technical problems.” Any clue as to WHEN it’s going to be back up and running?
