The news once again brings in focus the key strength of WiMAX technologies. Sprint has more than 10 MHz spectrum which is available for use, its trials in Baltimore-Washington have shown very good results and the new WiMAX devices are getting ready to roll off the assembly lines. The performance difference between the WiMAX enabled phones and others is expected to be phenomenal especially for video applications.
