Verizon is the latest carrier to become convinced that unlimited doesn’t mean unlimited, as its started charging customers of its $59.99 unlimited mobile broadband plan overages if they exceed 5GB in a billing cycle.
So while its going to still call it “unlimited”, customers will get charged a premium of $.49-per-megabyte over 5GB.
We think Verizon needs to call it, oh, the 5GB plan. Or something.

I wish I had Verizon just so I could cancel my account.

I thought other carriers have had class actions suits about unlimited services being advertised as such but not truly being unlimited.

A few months ago I got Verizon Wireless internet, the 5 GB plan. The first couple of bills were normal and accurate. Today’s bill was $1355.00!!!!! It would have taken me about 93,000 emails to reach that! The plan is under my husband’s name, so he called…well, he prayed first, lol, then he called. They said that the computer registers usage and it was accurate, BUT this ONE time they would wave the bill completely as an error on OUR part. Is it possible to have a “secure” wireless connection hacked?
