You know those scams, mostly from the late 90s, that went around advertising that if this email is forwarded 1000 times, Bill Gates will give everyone in the sender’s list $100,000? Yah, it was bunk, but this isn’t: if you’re a beta tester for Office Live Workspace, Microsoft is going to give you $100,000.
Well, not all to one person, but it has 30,000 prizes to give out from now till May 11, including Xboxen, smartphones, and Zunes.
So sign up, beta testers, and get good.

The site says “over 30,000 prizes”. Of that: 6,000 are prizes and 1,000 coffee coupons. That’s a hella lotta Pepsi to match 30K…

Interesting… Browser: Firefox 2.0.0.11, Operating System: OS X 10.5.2. Click Sign Up button. See message stating that the minimum requirements are Internet Explorer v6 on a few versions of Windows, or Firefox 2.0 or later on various platforms including “OS X 10.2 or later”.
Someone didn’t quite get their browser/OS detection routines correct.
