Nicholas’ notebook: Just got to SXSW convention center (and everthing’s closed)

You’ll notice my Jose Padilla beard. That’s what happens when Delta screws you.

After something like 30 hours of mild discomfort I have finally reached the Austin Convention Center, home of the SXSW Interactive festival. It’s 6:45 local time and pretty much everything has shut down, including the press room; I’m currently sitting on some random chair watching the janitors clean up other people’s messes. It’s great fun!

Apparently there’s some sort of Google party going on right now. My current plan of action is to hit that up, snap shots of whatever I deem interesting then report back later tonight.

The show doesn’t really kick off until tomorrow, with Zuckerberg, who started something called Facebook, giving a panel. Any questions y’all want asked, leave a comment.

Finally, I’d like to thank the good people at Corona for making my unexpected stay in Atlanta slightly more tolerable.

OK, over and out.
