First the iPhone gets Spore, now it gets Legos. What’s left?

Spore, the ultimate sandbox video game, and Lego, the ultimate sandbox brick-based toy, are now both coming to the iPhone. It’s only a matter of time before Lincoln Logs and Candyland are part of its expanding game empire as well. Man, the iPod Touch is going to start cutting into the DS’s market share. Did anyone see that coming?

The site’s interface is pretty slow and annoying, which doesn’t give me good hopes for the app itself, but whatever.

  • How about 3G?

  • The fine print at the bottom of the “Overview” page says “LEGO, AT&T, Apple … currently have no association with this website or project to date.” It also says the project is non-produced and has been entered as professional spec work.

However, the creator also says he is open to actually developing this app if LEGO gets in touch with him, but for now I think it’s just a concept. Oh well, looks like it could be cool.
