We didn’t really delve too far into this for specs, but if you’re looking for a new laptop on the cheap then check out the Lenovo outlet store. Some of them are discounted by about 40%. Maybe the kids need a laptop or something. Check it out.

A lot of these notebooks actually have nice specs, but of course you can’t customize them. Lenovo is perpetually discounting their ThinkPads, so these “40% discounts” really aren’t that much different than what you’ll find on a new notebook that you can customize.
Even the brand new X300 is discounted by over $600 on the main Lenovo notebook page.
10%-20% discounts on ThinkPads are the norm, 25% to 40% if you have a coupon.
