I am waiting patiently for these things to mature and become affordable. I don't read a lot of books anymore, sadly - and I blame that on the fact that I can't seem to get away from my computer. With a portable web-tablet of sorts that uses e-ink, I might have the solution to my problem! I was deeply encouraged by Amazon's Kindle - but from the reviews I've read, it needs work (and a price drop.) These devices should have built-in wireless (WiMax or whatever, as opposed to wifi) and they should have a browser. I'd love to access my Google Reader on one of these things. . . addicted to my feeds. (Maybe we can avoid proprietary RSS readers in these things?) And for me - nothing would beat being able to click a word and get a definition while I read. SO much potential here. They can't come fast enough!
