Technology is only held back from greed of cashing in on the "lifespan" of that technologies generation. You could of had dvd players in the early 90's too but the market for, VHS and LaserDisc was not exhausted yet. There is no reason to jump years ahead on a new design or technology when so many varietys of current products can be marketed and sold to the masses. It does not matter if the said product will help anyone or anything.... the only drive is greed. I garuntee if the general population were still happy with VHS, we would still be using them today... AND...As far as using "our" money to make bombs. We are trillions of dollars in debt, We have no money. The general idea of money having value is now just a facade, it has only remained as a level of control. I don't think I would be calling others a chump if you cant pull your head from your ass.
