Un-CrunchDeals: Nokia N810 has mysterious price increase. Wait, what?
by Matt Hickey on March 13, 2008

Nokia, you teasing little minx! First you drop the price of the lovely N810 Internet Tablet almost $100 to an iPod Touch-competing $389, making many of us check out bank accounts, and then just like that you raise the price to $439? Why do you do this to us?

There are rumors of a WiMAX version to be debuted at CTIA in a few weeks, which a lot of people are really looking forward to. We’ve also heard from a third party source that this WiMAX tablet will be far less expensive than the non-WiMAX version, but you’ll be required to sign a multi-year contract with the WiMAX vendor Nokia chooses.
