Growing up I used to watch all the magic specials on CBS (I think) that seemed to run so rampant and I desperately wanted to become a world famous magician as well. So doing some fact checking and what not at the library revealed Harry Houdini as the original master and I think I did a report on him at one point. His death is still a mystery and there’s a newly minted book that I need to read.
Anyway, it appears that the trailer for “Houdini: The Movie Star” reveals Harry as the first to battle a robot in a motion picture. Umm, I guess. I don’t actually see Harry making any physical contact with the robot in the trailer, but I won’t argue it.
