Today marks the arrival of yet another point-and-shoot from Pentax. The Optio V20, is like the sixth in the last few months, that features a 5x zoom lens, 8-megapixels and a ginormous 3-inch LCD. It appears to be geared towards portraits thanks to three key features: face recognition, smile capture and blink detection. I think you can decipher what each does and see its value in taking portraits. The Optio V20 comes with 52MB of built-in storage, auto-tracking AF (nice), as well as an auto-macro mode for close-ups up to 4-inches away.

The latest Optio will hit store shelves in May for $279.95.
