Hey dude! I see where you are coming from, people can be pretty mean at times. Maybe it just didn’t register to that person to tell you the power wasn’t working. Not taking his side but there are so many misunderstandings in the world of people so its just hard to figure people out sometimes.

I think we’re all missing the deeper issue here… why the hello do outlets never work in airports?!?!?! I fly through Baltimore a lot and it’s the worst. They have all these nice little workstations and none of the damn outlets work.

But, to deal with the issue at hand — Maybe he thought you were some sort of cracked-out-on-starbucks should-be mental patient and he didn’t want to deal with you… Kind of seems like you’re validating his theory with this article :-)

I agree. People usually do not care enough to warn someone about any potential problem they could have. So I always make a point of doing that, and I always receive a thank you. The point is that you shouldn’t feel bad about mean people, you feel good because you’re a nice person.

While I agree that mean people suck, and (like Aliens invading Earth in any video game) they don’t seem to need a reason, I have one question:

Not to defend the mindless dolt, but are you sure that *he* knew he wasn’t getting any juice from the outlet?
