The edge fix in the installer app fixes the problem where sometimes the iphone does not retain the apn number after a reboot. I got it running on the 19.99 tmo hotspot plan and then downgraded to the 5.99 tzones. Once you install Ziphone (which is amazing, awesome, and other words that start with "a"), shoot on over to installer. I am on 1.1.4, however hiding in "Tweaks 1.1.3" is "T-Mobile 1.1.3 TZones Hack". Install, and turn phone on and off. Make sure you have t-zones on your plan . The 19.99 version seemed a bit faster to me, but I am near wifi most of the time and spending the extra $14/mo seemes like overkill. If you *really* want that extra speed, under "settings", "general", "network", then "edge" make sure you have it set to internet2.voicestream.com OR interent3.voicestream.com. All those blogs out there said I should type "2" instead of "3" and when I called tmo they said I was on the "3" network. EDGE not working for you?
