		<description>you do not need safari.  apple is just trying to get people to install their web browser (and since you already have quicktime and itunes, they&#039;re trying to convert you just a little more).  i didn&#039;t have it, but the auto-update wanted to install it.  i was curious, so i let it install.  i didn&#039;t like it, so i uninstalled it (firefox forever!) and there were no issues.  no, itunes can hold its own online.  safari is an add-on they are trying to slip in under the guise of an itunes update, not a necessity for anything.</description>
