Look what Master Chong (sweet name, by the way) found. It’s the A900 from Sony. Yum. It won’t be released until August or September but here are some of the specs; 24.6-megapixels, thumb and forefinger scroll wheels, and dedicated function buttons for things like ISO and white balance. There’s also a metering mode selection switch, slow sync button, and a full-frame sensor. Hit the jump for a look at the backside.

  • Awesome looking camera, but what self-respecting man says “yum”?

  • i like minolta, but one thing ,they’ve never been able to do..make a good looking pro camera.that thing is ugly, with the 70’s pyramid prism.God I pray that sony will ifre the minolta design team and pay the cash and actually hire an industrial designer like Nikon did for their f5.and whats the point of a seperate grip? when attached it’s even bigger then the nikon d3 or canon 1d.sometimes I think that Minolta really doesnt know how to make a camera with an integral grip. and dont say they dont want to..cause in their intire history they never have.Even during the 80’s when they had a huge portion of the market they never made a treu pro camera. But aside from that, I rally hope that Sony can take he reigns and actually make a decent looking pro camera for once…oh and fire the entire minolta design team

  • Master chong is a fucking liar
he steels ALL the images off other sites and people
and just tags it as his
    fucking bullshit artist

but yeah the sony alpha is ugly as hell
i’d stick to my D3X thank you very much
