		<description>They&#039;re not upside-down.  The circles on top are where the light is hitting something in the air.  The smaller part on the bottom indicates that is where the light is coming from.  Not sure why you would be shining a spotlight down, unless you were shining it on a stage at an actor/acrtress.  Think car dealer promotion.</description>

While I could be wrong (I don&#039;t know why I say this, it seems I rather enjoy stating the obvious in ways which suggest otherwise), this doesn&#039;t really seem to be the work of Apple design guys. It would... &quot;feel&quot; better. 

And if it is indeed the work of Apple design guys, hmm... &#039;tis a certainly interesting direction in the way of UI design.
