Most NASCAR races have portable tv's and other items to buy and rent. Looks like F1 is taking some tips to engage the fans more rather than just leaving them at the sidelines.

They had Kanagroo TV at the USGP last year, but we didn't rent one. You had to return it after the race to vendor village where you pick it up. That meant (for us) walking against many hoards of people trying to leave the venue. They didn't really think through the logistics very well. It looked really cool, but was impractical for us to get it. The USGP isn't returning this year anyway. I use a scanner for ALMS races.
