They're kids. We were the same freakin' way. I am a drummer. I've only been wearing ear plugs the last 5 years (out of 20 drumming). I remember putting our house speakers face to face with just enough room for my head as we played our tapes as loud as we could take it. Hundreds of concerts attended with no plugs. I now live with constant ringing/hissing in my ears. I look at my 2 year old boy. I'm gonna yell and scream (so i can hear myself) and argue with him, but he'll never listen. Not until he can't hear me yell anymore. The point? Give up. Kids are kids.
