Vcast TV turns one year old, gets two new channels as a present

Well what have we here? Just moments — literally moments — after posting about AT&T’s new mobile TV solution I get an email from Verizon about enhancements to their mobile TV solution.
Verizon is adding new channels to its Vcast mobile entertainment offerings, including a bilingual version of MTV (Hi, J-Lo!) and ESPN Radio.
Does anyone else smell a good old-fashioned rivalry brewing?

Does anyone out there actually use Vcast? I’ve been a verizon customer for years and I can’t say I know a single person who buys games or ringtones or whatever else they offer targeted at the 13-years-old-to-moron market

I do…every day. I’m 48 and a total geek.
The cast is great…the phones suck. Marry it to an iPhone or larger format screen phone and we’re there.
Live broadcasting would be even better!
