Hawking today has announced a new compact USB 802.11n device with upgradable hi-gain antennas. The HWUN1A can boost your range by up to four times, and boost throughput up to N-spec levels.

If you’re in an area with a lot of interference, then the Hi-Gain antennas are what you want. If you really want to cover a lot of area, there are outdoor options as well. Either way, this is an adapter and booster in one, perfect for those with a lot of property to cover like schools or paramilitary anti-government training compounds.
