I have one of these 20"'s at my work...it's definitely a lousy screen. The Apple forums are littered (when Apple doesn't delete the posts!) with people complaining about it. The computer is fine, so it's not a complete ripoff, but the screen definitely is lower quality than my own white 24" at home. Why did they screw up like that?

I agree that executing a class action lawsuit seems a little unnecessary, but if I had purchased a product based on specs provided on the packaging, I'd probably be a little upset if it turned out to be bogus. I'd hate feeling like I paid for something that I didn't get.

It's just unfortunate that the purpose of this lawsuit is almost entirely to make money for some lawyers who want to nail Apple for failing to keep their marketing guys in the loop. It's not as though the majority of buyers could see an obvious loss of quality and then felt that they needed to come together for a class action lawsuit.
