The boys are reporting from CTIA that Verizon just announced they’re purchasing AT&T for $25 billion. The news came during the joint Verizon/AT&T luncheon at Piero’s (great pesto) and it means that the flagging CDMA company will now have a GSM presence internationally. The first phone on the new VerizonGSM branded network: the iPhone. More news as we have it.

NEWS FLASH: WorldCom is said to be close to closing a deal to purchase Enron for $400 a share. Inside sources at WorldCom have also reported that they are close to a deal with Tyco. More news to come!!!

i heard that verizon was buying out time warner cable for 25 billion dollars,verizon is goint to combine timewarner cable with verizon fios fiber optic and create the most expansive entertainment best deal the consumers can get.verizon said it will take 2-3yrs or sooner to switch time warner cables customers over to fios,we will start in the albany schenectady,ny market that connects into the berkshires,we will switch these people over first to fiostv and internet on the brand new all digital fiber optics by mid-late summer
