Here it is, folks, the Sprint Instinct by Samsung in all its glory. This particular device is running on an older version of the OS so it’s a little wonky. The number its activated with is also sans data plan, sooooo yeah.

This phone looks incredible.
As a former owner of the iPhone (I was an early-adopter, who then sold the phone and went back to Sprint because of AT&T’s ridiculously slow network), I must say I am VERY turned on by this Samsung phone.
I will be upgrading to this as soon as it comes out.
am i the only one who is noticing that 60% of the time his touch selections aren’t working?
The OS is still in Beta. It won’t be out till June.
This samsung phone really sucks. The iphone is much more flexible and faster. And with apps soon.. its really the only phone to get.

You really think that ATT’s slower than a snail internet is better than sprint? You must not have seen any speed comparisons of sprints EVDO REV A network against the dial up like speeds on ATT’s edge network…hmmm dial up vs high speed, sorry sprint is the winner here

will i be able to sync with my outlook email from work. i have an HTC mogul… for that main reason. can/will the instinct be able to handle business appointments, calendar view, and other “office” related business on top of the “entertainment” aspect of the phone. it looks very nice and i would like to have one… but i have to be able to keep up with work as well.
Geez, how hard does this guy have to push the screen and buttons, beta or not! It may give the iPhone a run for its money. The commercials show that the Insight is better, in connectivity, but how will it stack against the iPhone, when the iPhone is 3G and may have GPS capabilities? We’ll just have to wait and see what Steve pulls out of his arse! Does the Insight’s browser allow flash? If the iPhone2 has GPS, 3G, and supports flash, then I’m giving my current iPhone to my girl and I’ll scoop up the new one. Will Sprint allow the Insight to be on their $99-everything plan? Since we’ll have to wait until both phones come out, I’d still give the edge to the iPhone.
I wonder how the texting will be with the phone, if you test a lot how will the screen hold up

6/19/08 - Got one in my hands right now. Phone Rocks! Lot’s of wicked cool functions. $129 after $100 mail in on a $70 a month all the data access you can use. Includes live TV feeds line CNN, Fox Sports live, etc.
this phone looks nice and credible compared to iphone! cant wait to have on!

HEY, OF COURSE THE TOUCH SELECTIONS CANT ALWAYS FUNCTION 100% ALL THE TIME! IT JUZ DEPENDS ON HOW HARD OR MILD YOU TOUCH IT! BUT IT’S NOT ONLY THIS PHONE, BUT EVEN OTHER TOUCH CAPABLE PHONES.

I have this Instinct. Cool phone for media related activity. Sucks for business. No way to get calendar appointments to the phone (aside from manual entry). No agenda view to see upcoming appointments. Camera is 2MP, but no flash. No “pinching”. If you are looking for more productivity (i.e. my Moto Q 9c that I traded in for the Instinct), don’t get this phone. I am actually going back to Sprint tonight to reclaim my Moto Q.
To everyone talking about the UI, I played around with one of these in the store today (mine arrives Monday via UPS) and the touch screen is FAR more responsive than many of the videos show (with far less force on it). It’s very responsive and I’ve had no problems with the on screen keyboard.
iphone sucks i would just gowith the samsung instinct price wise
