You need to hold down the option key (Apple) or ctrl key (Windows) while you click restore, then you will be prompted for the firmware to restore.

Guys, i can't "restore" after i do IPSW Builder. Whe i go to itunes and click restore it doesn't open a window like in the pwnage videos, it goes directly to its own restoration?
what's the problem?

Hmm... I take issue with the "pwnage can't brick an iPhone". It seems to have bricked mine. Couldn't get it to power on in any way, restore via iTunes, or even do a hardware reset (holding down power and home for 10+ seconds). Nada. Returned my iPhone tonight and got a new one. That being said, it's undoubtedly a rare bug/incompatibility, since lots of people seem to have been successful with it.

I just tried pwnage on my mac. was at a zibri 3.0 jailbreak. after running this tool, my phone just flashes colors, if I hold the sleep button down the colors stabilise into the pineapple icon :-( I cannot get it in recovery mode so itunes still cannot see it. :-(

Here's my idea that I've had for a while. Once Android comes out, in the-hopefully-soon future, we can use our Pwnded iPhones to load it up. And if they are working on porting Windows on over, then I imagine that getting android to work would be a walk in the park.

If I have a working 1.1.3 Jailbroken and Unlocked phone, why would I want to do this> Also where can I get the 1.2 software so I can use the Exchange sync?
