Well, deliverance is finally here and it comes in the form of a fairly beefy Zune dock called the ZK 500 Kicker. It costs $349.99 and, um, plays the music of your Zune through its HUGE five-inch woofers and 3/4″ silk dome tweeters. That is significantly better than the 3/4″ bacon dome tweeters I was using. The bacon began to smell.
Seriously: it’s a dock for your Zune. If you need a dock for your Zune, get it. Otherwise, get a Sansa Fuze or a durn iPod and let Microsoft’s folly die with dignity.

My Zune 80 and ZK 500 Kicker ROCK. Turn it up as loud as you want and you still have crisp clear sound. Easy to use remote. I love it.
