Doesn't this error on the part of the reviewer require a little more than a tiny update at the bottom of the review? This is outright bad reporting and the review should be retracted for inaccuracy. A lot of people just read the first few paragraphs and move on.

Hey.
The ClearBoost case isn't working because T-Mobile runs on a 850MHz network. AT&T runs on 1900MHz. Thats why it isnt working.

It's antenna is only capable of intercepting 1900MHz signals.

Clearboost do say
"However, if you are in a 1900 MHz service area, you should still see some benefit from using ClearBoost, though the amount of signal gain will be less than when compared to an 850 MHz area"

This test is showing that the case actually blocks 1900 Mhz service

Good Observation and Assesment of the Overall complaint the case is Most likely tuned for 850Mhz NOT 1900Mhz

hahah mr. erb must be from griffin or has NEVER used their products.... Cause 98% of them SUCK ASS. from the itrip to probably this one. They pump out products before readily testing them and pay the consequences. the best product they made was the icurve and it had no electronic parts. The rest are throwaway products that you buy one day and break down the next.... we'll probably see this case at the checkout stands at gas stations for 1.99$. that's when i might get it.

You are such an idiot. Oh, it didn't work on my hacked iPhone so it must be a scam. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, a scam. You never even considered, before you slander Griffen, that YOU might be the problem. Nice unbiased article. Typical.

AT&T uses the 850 Mhz band and T-Mobile uses the 1900 Mhz band so that could be an issue. Antennas are tuned to a length that corresponds to a specific frequency or a multiple of that frequency... i.e. full wave, 1/2 wave, 1/4 wave, 1/8 wave. That stub looks to be about the length of an 1/8 wave so the conducting portion should be around 44 mm for 850 Mhz or about 20 mm for 1900 Mhz.

How can a case distinguish between t-mobile signal or at & t signal. Seems to me that this thing is a gimmick albeit in a half decent case

Looks like your iPhone is on T-Mobile. Isn't this case for AT&T service only? Perhaps you should test it again.
